BushcraftUK was established in 2000 as a place to meet like minded people and share skills and knowledge.
We continue these same values today through website and ‘Moots’.
Pop in, say hello, and sit by the fire.
Join us at a Moot, sharing skills since 2003
SummerMoot
22 Years of Skill Sharing
Each summer we gather in a beautiful woodland for the Summer Moot – a relaxed festival of bushcraft, camping and community.
The heart of the event is the Core Moot, five days of workshops and skill sharing.
Either side of this sits the Extended Moot, a slower stretch of woodland camping where conversations continue around the fire long after the workshops finish.
WinterMoot
WinterMoot – Festival of Outdoor Cookery
Fires, Food and Friends
When the air is cold and the nights draw in, the fire becomes the heart of camp.
WinterMoot is a week long woodland gathering focused on cooking outdoors, sharing food, learning skills and crafts, and enjoying the simple pleasures of camp life. People experiment with fire cooking, swap ideas and gather around the flames to enjoy the results together.
Running Monday to Sunday, it’s a relaxed and welcoming week of fires, food and friendship.

MindMoot
MindMoot is about stepping away from the noise of everyday life and spending a weekend reconnecting with yourself, with nature and with other people.
Set in a peaceful woodland, the weekend blends mindfulness practices, simple bushcraft activities, conversation and time around the fire. Some sessions are practical, some reflective, and some simply give you the chance to slow down and be present.
We arrive on Friday evening, spend Saturday exploring mindful skills and outdoor practices together, and finish Sunday Lunchtime, taking time to reflect before heading home.
Most people leave feeling calmer, clearer and more grounded than when they arrived.
“During that time I connected with myself, with a group of other people, and with the world around me more richly than I have for years.”

NEW: MakerMoot
Running on the same weekend as the TORM and ARM markets in November, MakerMoot is a woodland gathering for people who enjoy making things.
The event runs Friday to Sunday. Bring a project and spend the weekend working alongside other makers in a relaxed woodland setting.
If you need materials or inspiration, the markets are just a short drive away, so you can visit, pick up supplies, and come back to camp to put them to use.
We provide the facilities and space. You bring the projects.
Extended tickets allow arrival from Thursday.
