Went off up the lane Blackberrying this evening, got around 2.5lb of berries in about 15 minutes, some of the berries were absolutely huge, got back home, picked two Pears off the tree in the garden, washed it all off, made some shortcrust, and hey voila, one for dinner tonight and one for tomorrow night

and very tasty it was too with some fresh cream drizzled over the top.

Cant get much fresher than that, an hour from bush/tree to pie

Twere very tasty Tony, i have about 20 lb of Damson jam here, and blackberry jam & jelly, and pear & orange jam and greengage, well you get the picture, the Damsons have been superb down here this year, i have now been forbidden to go and get any more Damsons, so i moved onto the sloes instead
