Had a great walk this afternoon round the coast.
Picked 650g of Whortleberries aka Bilberries. Absolutely loads about but SWMBO banned me from picking more
Gonna have some with clotted cream and ice cream for afters

Actually its a pint of Magners Cider I put for size comparison.
I know oficinados will say its not real cider , but you cant get the still murky stuff in sainsburys.

Those are beauties,three times the size of what I've been getting down here,poor soil I suppose.I came across some a couple of years back at the foot of Moel Siabod that were at least twice the size of the ones you have there,I could'nt believe it.Half a mile further on I came across a huge patch of Raspberries,probably dumped originally with someones garden waste,after a days climbing the two lots put together with runny cream were a feast.
