Woody Svord..Heavy MOD

Hi guys, just thought id share a few pictures of my new Modded Svord Peasant. It made from a recycled handle from an old Friction folder i had! I used the previous blade to make a fixed blade antler horn skinner. (Image below). The main part of the modding was done on the Svord blade its self. Its now a minus 3" blade that cuts through paper like it wer air! I grinded the old tang completely down so it isnt a gut trap when on my belt and it nicely sits on top of the first brass rivet, lying flush with the handle. (Another thing i didnt like a bout the svord handle after longer/harder periods of use)

The handle has got a really nice fit in the hand due to it concave's and fills it rather well! These is still a little bit of work to be done on it and thats to buy a level bottom counter sync for the main screw and buy some two long lasting washers.

Cheers dude, yeh i have another with the original handle that i use in a neck sheath. I still find it uncomfortable after a bit in the hand so im gonna stick with this one from now on i think!

really nice job Cowboy, particularly like how the tang sits flush now and the handle shape. Might have to have another look at mine now as it just sits in my knife roll.

Man of tanith; Cheers mate, the bottom one isnt a svord but it it a converted FF. You could easily make a svord into a fixed blade though. Let us no how you get on if you decided to pimp yours..
