woodspirit carving gift

made this for my lad, he likes candle lighting in his flat so i thought this would fit the bill.

the carving is from birch on a base of red cedar, smells lovely.

yes mate it did cross my mind, but im thinking tea light in its own metal container, indoor use no draught to bend the flame and he'll have the sense not to leave it unattended.

you were right, he was over the moon with it. when im long dead and gone he will have something to remember me by especially made for him. as will my eldest son i made this for his christmas present too
