Woodlore knife fakes

Just to clarify - the thread on BB has been locked. The photo's were proven to be faked, not the knives, and the situation has been appropriately dealt with by Martyn.

I just thought I'd let you guys know incase there was a mass 'fake woodlore' panic. There were no forged Woodlore knives and there is no reason to believe that there ever was.

Just to re-affirm the above. The photo's of the fake woodlore were photoshopped, without doubt.

I can not say categorically that there was never a fake knife, but I can say categorically that the alleged pictures of it were forgeries. It was a picture of a genuine woodlore, but the logo had been digitally altered to make it look like it could be a counterfeit knife.

Personally, I have never seen any evidence to suggest that any fake woodlore's exist. There is certainly a possibility that they exist, but I have never personally seen anything. Untill such a time, I would conclude that these rumors are just that, nothing more.

I would also agree that closing this thread would be a good idea.
