hi all, after saving some hard earned dosh i'm planning on treating myself to a swc bushcraft knife from woodlore.
only problem is that woodlore have a very vague delivery date for the next batch as 'early november' lol
i'm going crazy checking my email account for the notification and i have been checking the website every hour just in case!
i suppose you could liken this behaviour to the recent rush to buy take that tour tickets lol
 
unfortunately it clearly states on there 'do not call the office'. although it would be funny to phone them up like some crazed stalker type half angry half crying demanding to know when i can get my knife lol i could then ask them if they would sell me a lock of rays hair so i could grow myself a clone lmao
 
But...have you seen the Mora 510's they're doing? I just opened a jiffy bag and 2 fell out. Very niice knife, I think I've got a new favourite Mora!

Apparently Woodlore have got the reamining Mora 510's done with a green handle and Ray's logo. I just bought 2, one to use & one for spare. It feels very nice in the hand, better than the Clipper or Alround I think - but I HAVEN'T used it properly yet!
 
Woodlore did have some for sale early November, but they sold out overnight. The information on the website would seem to be out of date. I recon thats a good enough reason to give them a call and ask when the next batch are due.

I ordered mine yesterday and they arrived today. I must admit, there are a couple of birch trees just outside my office, they look MIGHTY tempting!

do you reckon those moras will be on ebay.com going for 50 quid each?
anyways i've managed to get one of the bushcraft knives a few minutes ago, and yes it will be a user once i manage to make a left handed sheath for it :)

Glad you got it. I didn't want to update the thread with their availability in case a load of folk decided to get one.
 
its much appreciated, i was actually going to commission SWC to make me a woodie clone before he started making them for uncle ray but i didnt have the money! then i had the money and SWC's order book closed :( i then toyed with the idea of contacting alan wood for a commission but realised he probably has too much on his plate lol
price of popularity i suppose but at least i know it wont depreciate that much in years to come.
