I got this email today and I thought one or two of you might be interested


"National Lottery funding has helped the Woodland Trust and many other organisations deliver inspirational projects to protect wildlife and help people enjoy their natural heritage.

The future of this, one of the biggest sources of funding for conservation projects, is now up for review.

The Government is currently consulting over the future allocation of funds for good causes and we need your help to make the case for this funding to continue into the future."

seem the Government have it in for conservation at the moment.. the national park services having to tighten their belts too!

Got the same email myself. It only takes a few minutes to fill out and could help heritage charities get the funding that they require.

ive been a member for a couple of years, it only costs a couple of quid a month and its well worth it, i believe its up to everyone who wants to use woodland to at least contribute towards it, go on everyone dig in and join!
