A variation based on Marys Bushshirt, I went for a light weight and shorter version and will soon finish another with thicker hides. This one is made from Roe and Fox.
lovely stuff.
i did ask mary to pass on the following but as you've posted here.
I've been following the pics of various goodies you've been producing and posting on the dreaded Facebook. its all constantly impressive inspiring and mildly jealousy inducing to see your stuff
It's not just the quality of the stitching that's impressive; the buck skins he makes are superb. I have never handled better. Tbh, they really made me reassess the entire concept of skin clothing. They are soft, they are incredibly flexible, honestly, think leather cloth. Just beautiful The fox fur that he has used for the hood edging is another truly excellent bit of work.
I don't know if Patrick's going to the Wilderness Gathering this year or not, but if he is, make a point of visiting it if you can and be prepared to feel totally haunless in comparison
Another buckskin shirt, fallow & fox its longer and heavier and should suit the Autumn season ....now on with the breeks which are almost finished....its the hand sewing that eats away the time.
