Best thing is, it's not been tweaked .....looks raw and unrefined and still is mind blowing .

I volunteer with the Sheffield Ranger Service and we have been involved with several of the unveiling days for a number of these sculpture, I have even met one of the artists (can't recall his name) he also worked in cast iron, cement, as well as wood, he links each sculpture to the history/folk lore of the area its placed in to. When I moved to Sheffield and join the Ranger Service I was blown away by the number of these works dotted around the parks, woodlands, and public spaces. One group I love is called Journeys to Hidden Places.
If I remember I will try to take pictures of some of the others we come across.

Good elth , I've seen a couple of the cast ones, just didn't have chance to stop :mad: ill try again next week. Thank s for the info. I will have a gander at yon link. Cheers :thumbup:
