Wood carving commision

More of my Handling box work.

We need a carved wooden longboat about 6-8 inches long.

Scandanavian woods (one found example was Alder)

Rough and ready if you please but must have longboat attributes (shape, dragons heads, shields)

I can supply a mast and sails (but leave a step)

The Manx mueum have money waiting

Time frame, -week to 10 days

Anyone up for it?

Did they have plastic model kits in Early Medieval times?

(Tutor dislikes term `Dark ages`...)

I know the Egyptians had them but...
