You won't be disappointed if you do. These haven't been worn enough to tar the laces....

Canadian......I've not been as scared and elated in years......been a boyhood dream , and I've only been in a canoe half dozen times.....one of them was made from a tarp with Patrick .

The rapids .....more of a row of huge rocks really.....
I did it Sunday when the river was flooding....stupid.....but that's me ......

Pics don't really show how it was...

You can see how calm the water is at the start.....then a few hundred yards of wild water that passes under the bridge....

I might do a bit of a thread at some point as I did get a couple of nice pics along the Calder ...

Is that a natural 'weir' ? it looks like a right puzzle of a rapid to get through once you're over it anyway.

I learned to use a kayak on the River Awe I didn't know that folks didn't only use them on white water I still think white water is one of the best rushes on the planet
