I'm not sure if someone has posted this already or this is the right place to post this but I have just picked up that Willy Poole who often wrote under the name Arthur James died on August 18 aged 76. He wrote in all sorts of sporting publications on countryside matters and as a country commentator in the weekend Telegraph for many years. He was somewhat unique and I doubt we will see his like again. RIP Willy Poole.

Some of his Arthur James writing in the Shooting Times in the 80's was hilarious and, in these modern times, nicely un-PC
