Yes it can be applied to any cotton trousers.

Thanks Andy. I've replaced the coolmax areas of a ubacs shirt with cotton and I'd like to weatherproof it a bit.

In terms of waterproofing, it's pretty rubbish on G1000...
So yes you can use on most fabrics but don't expect it to transform it into waterproofs.
