As title, I had the spine ground flat and added black micarta handles with red liners fixed with brass pins.

Great tough user in the field and camp, no sheath unfortunately.

£67.50 posted RMSD.

Looks a fine working tool, and a bargain price!

I think its a stretch to call it a lightly modified WS Dartmoor though. This has none of the features that defined the Wilkinson Sword. Even with all the junk on the spine removed, the Wilkinson Sword Dartmoor was 6mm 440C stainless with a hidden box tang with a threaded stud on the butt. This looks like it is full tanged O-1 a full 1mm thinner. Even if it were made from a 440C Dartmoor blade blank, so much else has changed that using the Wilkinson Sword name isn't really appropriate anymore.

I think this is a much better and more useful knife than the WS, and whoever has bought it should be happy with it, which is what matters, but they shouldn't compare it to stuff written about the Wilkinson Sword knife.

The blade was purchased from Sterling supplies Chris, the saw teeth were removed, and the bolt where the nut would sit was ground down.
It is around 6mm thick at the scales.
