All I am saying is that it works both ways, if you can give me one single bit of proof that what that quote is saying is complete rubbish, then fair enough, but the fact of the matter is - you can't. It may be completely crazy, but for me personally, outright disbelieving something just because it sounds bloody crazy, is just as crazy as it is to outright believe it.

you have misunderstood the purpose of those 2 theories. They were designed to show the utter absurdity of the idea that because you can't disprove something it must exist.

Well iv'e heard of David Ike and never took much notice,until this thread,so visited his website and watched the nearly three hour video on the recent by election big brother,after watching it,i can only say what he states is true,he never mentioned shape shifters but what he does talk about is backed up with clear proof.
Its worth watching in my view,as i can see we are going down the road he states,believe him or not, but its certainly opened my eyes.

Fair point Firecrest,but have you watched the three hour vid,all he says in it is fact,for instance on the use of tasers and how all police will soon be carrying them.theres never any smoke without fire,and the vid is well worth watching from begining to end,and draw your own conclusions on it,and him.

Yeah its a crazy world isnt it. The 9/11 thing seems to undeiniably be very very suspicious. I mean its there to see on the video evidence - the other building simply fell via a controlled demolishion. That to me is proof enough they at least knew what was going on, if not orchistrated it. The whole money as debt thing makes me feel depressed, if only people would realise just how these things work, and how the system holds us back, forcing half the world to live in poverty.

Well we got a bit sidetracked on this thread while debating people's sanity. As the old Quaker said to his wife: "Sometimes I think the whole world's mad except for me and thee - and sometimes I wonder about thee."

There's been some stimulating stuff about the financial markets and money though. I used to be really interested in the subject and went to live on a survival farm in the eighties when I thought that there was going to be a financial crash, oil shortage and that the Russians might nuke us.

I read quite a bit on the subject of financial markets back then but, not being an economist nor having any money, a lot of the knowledge I gained is a bit hazy now.

To my great surprise the crash didn't happen then, of course, but that doesn't mean it won't. Financiers and government propped up the creaky financial system in the eighties and by so doing ensured that when it does collapse that the collapse will be even bigger IMHO.

I think that if we don't go off on too many tangents in this thread we could all learn a lot about how the financial system is set up and why we are having the problems we are. It is also important to consider the possible outcomes of this situation on a personal, national and international level.

I know it's not bushcraft but it does have a huge impact on us and it may even force many of us to hone our foraging/growing skills if things go badly for us financially. When the system is crumbling around you the value of being somewhat self-reliant and self-sufficient becomes more important.
