A couple of years ago I came by a load of small ceramic rods which turned out to be good sharpeners. I gave a couple of hundred away on this forum, and I have been wondering recently how people who requested one (or more) have got on with them.

I use mine all the time to put an edge back on my blades, and think they're great, but what do you all think?

I carry mine as my only form of sharpener when I'm out. Small and weighs nowt so it's a winner to me, better than having a stone as I very rarely need it. Thanks for sending me one!

Ok folks, I've only got a few left, but if all those who've expressed an interest up to this point PM me, I'll give you my address, you can mail me an SAE and I'll pop them in the post for you. I think a large 1st class stamp with a padded envelope will suffice, although if you haven't got a padded envelope I've a few lying round.

Cheers, Magentus

Sorry to sound stupid, but what is an SAE.
