Sorted out a load of dead wargames figures. I have several pounds of white metal (70% Sn 30% Pb)

Any suggestions as to use?

Aside fishing weights!

If you have any tiny little 1cm sized toy soldier types in there, would you hang onto half a dozen of them for me please ?
I'm making a 12th scale toyshop …..think 1950's…..and they'd be excellent :)

You could get a ladder, a basin of water and practice making lead shot! :D
Or more in keeping with some of the museum work you've been doing you could practice some hammered wire rings, bracelets and hacksilver type things before progressing onto more expensive metals.
Maybe make some Roman lead sling ammo. I like the ones where they've cast them from a thumb print in sand and the nail and features of the thumb are still visible after all this time.

I'm memory serves you can add copper and make a kind of leaded bronze. Either way it'll alloy
