Thanks Bobbin, I'd caught the end of that story, now I can watch the whole thing. Apparently there are already a few of patches of these locally, I also heard that digging them up doesn't eradicate them either due to their very long roots, although don't quote me on it.

EDIT - Is it me or is Janet Anders VERY short?

This is also quite an informative link, apologies for the slight thread hijack.

I was surprised to read that most bluebells are likely to be hybrids!

Went down to Petworth Park in Sussex today and their bluebell display was fantastic, as far as I could see it was mostly the native, scented variety :)

Even better though was when I got back home....whilst out in the back garden I discovered that the bluebells in one corner are actually English ones after all !! :D:D
