This is a White Ash backed Oregon Yew longbow I had made for me. The bow is 6' long, 1 1/2" wide at the center and pulls 55# @ 28". It has WB horn nocks with the top nock having a double string groove cut in. The finish is alternating coats of Tung oil, Shellac with a final sealant of Carnauba paste wax . The bow was made out of a belly split from a stave. The Tung oil really brings the colour out in the wood as you can see in the pictures;
The bow cost me £950. One year ago and I would like to make at least half that back. The bow is a real joy to shoot but is just sitting in the house not being used, So I am putting it up for sale.
Real offers on the bow most welcome.......
Thanks for your time.
