Somebody mentioned on here last week that they thought the rutting season had started earlier near them too.

If it has started early then a bad winter is probably ahead. Lots of unusual goings on in nature this year. Weird crane flies, serious mass of life, i have not seen a wasp this year at all either. Hot summer while the sun is at its most inactive period in ages.

Is it not a bit early for wasps yet? I seem to remember september being the time of wasps in my Thachers

the weather this year is totally crazy. I say the normal seasons are no more. Radical change is upon us.
