I have and use the DD-bergen a lot, excellent piece of kit for the price imo. It is also easily modifiable.

I've noticed that there are not a lot of pictures of backpacks in use, which gives you an idea of how big/small they are, so here's the DD on my back (I'm 1,84 m.)

I've got an old Airjet 35 and looks a little different to that, so not sure if it's better or worse, but mine's tough and still looks newish. Buckles and seams are strong and zips are good. It gets used as a daypack when I take the kids out for walks, picnics and beach trips so lots of use over 10 years. I paid about twenty quid but would happily spend thirty if I had to replace it, but may go for the 45 litre if I did.

I've just checked my Airjet for differences today and noticed it's a Tracpac model. The pockets zip covers are different and the waist belt isn't padded on mine.

Heads up on the airjets they're brilliant bags never had any problem with them, robust and very comfy straps exceptionally easy on the shoulders. Lost my 25lt as my girlfriend wanted it for valentines. Sad but at least she liked it 😂
