im looking for a pair to keep my feet dry this winter whilst out and about. problem is there seems to be about 50 different models which is a bit confusing  anyone help me?

I would like them to be warm, fully waterproof and robust enough for long walks.

cheers

J

Go for the MOD versions mate, much better in my experience. Had two pairs of Sealskinz as presents over the years and they've never last more than a couple of months before leaking.

Got some size 6-8 for sale in the classifieds :)

+1 for the MOD socks.

I picked up 2 pairs for about £25 including p&P off of ebay and so far they're keeping the water out and my feet warm :D

Don't bother, they just make your feet very cold due to the wind chill on your wet footwear, much better to have footwear that doesn't absorb water and socks that will keep your feet warm even when wet i.e wool.
I mention wind chill because I purchased a pair for use when cycling, they got used once, as my feet had never been colder even though conditions weren't that bad.

If you really want waterproof feet try what canadians do: first a pair of wool socks then a thin plastic bag and then another pair of wool socks. Seems to work when you don't want freezing condensation in your boots.

Bought a pair once, tested them out first by standing in the bath, they leaked, returned them, will never buy another pair.
