Yeh, get it open. :)

90% of peeps on here will have the merino-possum RM ones no doubt. Anyone got the chocolate fish one?

Oh! I thought that was your kitbox, not just a hat box chiseller!

Some poor teapot will go cold tonight..:hatscarf: :p :joke:

hand knitted (well. not hands, I think needles were mostly used) woollen one. Keep pestering mrs m to knit me a Monmouth cap, but so far to no avail. I keep dropping hints (like buying balls of wall etc).
Don't really wear a beanie all that often, prefer my flat cap for most winter weather.

I bought a McLaren beanie which I will use this winter, black wool outer layer with a red fleece liner. Warn it a couple mornings walking the dog and feels great, doesn't really fit in with the bushcraft theme though.

i use a wool jeep hat simply because it doesnt make me look like a complete tos**r like beanies do ( i just dont have the right shaped head for those hats) i also have a big furry winter hat with ear flaps which does look silly but its very warm.

Still looking for one that's big enough for my bonce, all the one-size-fits-all ones that I've got or tried are just too tight and uncomfortable, ideas welcome !

Been wondering what the point of the jeep style ones is with the little peak thing at the front, doesn't look big enough to do anything, or maybe it does ?

Cheers, Paul

I love my all-Merino Aclima beanie. It has a sort of string vest-type thing on the inside which lifts its warmth to a huge degree. That said, I've also heard good things about the Canada Goose Merino hats... And I need one in a different colour...
