You could always have a look round the tool stalls at market etc, buy an old one and turn it into a project (new handle, cover, re profile the edge, etc)
I have just finished one, I was given an old Norlund hatchet head (thanks bro :You_Rock_ )
It was in a bit of a state , but with a bit of work its turned into a very good user and has now replaced my SFA.

Came across this on the bay of evil this morning, it's a Wetterlings, don't know much about the model (not sure about the nail remover) but at 99p starting price, it looks good value!

I've been checking this out as it looks to be the Fiskar branded version of the Gerber Sport Axe... does anyone have one? They're about £15 cheaper than the Gerber model
