Where to get Kydex

And can I use a vacuum former to shape it?

I have a vacuum former at work and I hear that Kydex can be vacuum formed. Does anyone know where I can get small quantities to try and what sort of temperatures I need to heat it to? I'd like to experiment with combining it with leather to make pouches/sheathe/whatever.
