Where to buy meths?

I have tried searching the forum (and it may be me) but I couldn't find anything relevant.

I called in at B&Q today to buy a new supply of meths (for my back up fire kit) and it was £3.08 for a 500ml bottle - surely it is cheaper somewhere else - but where??

I have tried internet searches but apparenly low prices seem to be cancelled ouit by P&P - anybody found a good supplier?

check the £ shops they often sell tools and things cheap, i payed £1.98 for 500ml........

Try your local hardware store normal dirt cheap.

I have found a local housewares shop who sells 500ml for £1.20, and paraffin (4l) for £4.99. I can take some down to RC if anyone wants any.

the Ironmonger shop Robert Dyas, sell it at around £7 for 2.5ltrs (though it is most likely to be pink in colour, it's still the same meths and works as well as normal stuff)
