Made this Bear Grylls style sheaf to fit a Ray Mears knife with some tooling for Si1.

I would say it's tooled leather as embossing could refer to a single rolled press onto the leather whereas this has been drawn on, then Topknot has used an swivel knife to carve the outline of the pattern before using a number of different tools to give the relief.

Yes, in the end it's horses for courses how you carry a knife, but the design of carrying a knife along a belt has been about for a while.

One question though. I have only just started with leather carving and was wondering were you get your designs? Or are they just out of your head?

I have got a couple of books on the subject but they don't have to many designs in them.
