Mine is that the last time we had a record number of users on the forum, it was me that noticed and started a thread about it congratulating Tony.

1,764 users, 06-03-2011 at 21:45, if anyone is interested.

What's yours?

I sent British red the link to BcUK about 6 months after I joined, and he hasn't stopped posting since :lmao:

Actually, it's not a great BcUK claim to fame as you guys don't know about it. But a few years on, Emm still mentions it constantly. She's even told friends and my mom :(

The hat I'm wearing in this pic from Borneo was given to me by Mors Kochanski :)

Mines got to be my knifemaking.

Joined here in October 2008 and i had never made a thing in my life. Taught myself to make knives in 09 with a bit of guidance from Bernie, never looked back and its because of the support from you fine people and members of other forums, that i have got as far as i have with it. Cheers :)

BCUK - Had a nice chat with Ray Mears about 9 years ago! Thoroughly genuine man. Expect many other people can claim to have spoken with him too!

Life - First person EVER into a small cave system in Anamas Dalgari (sp?) Mountains in Turkey, Sheffield Uni Speleological Society Caving exped in late 80s. We drove down from Sheffield in a transit van through Europe, including Yugoslavia (before partition). Of course, this means nothing to anyone but me.
