Please forgive ignorance.

Do invitations to BcUK moots include clear guidelines about the sorts of knives and other tools that can be brought to a moot?

Can I bring my tree harvester if I drive there in it? :)

Is a moot a public place?

Well, to be pedantic, it doesn't matter that there are members of the public there. As long as the items are UK legal (i.e. none of those zombie knives etc. :)) and you have a valid reason for having it with you, it's OK to have axes, saws, knives etc. I confess, I don't walk around the camp with anything (other than my SAK) on my belt.

These are the general Rough Close terms - it doesn't say no tree harvesters - just no chain saws. It does say no knife or axe throwing and that air rifle and archery require NSRA / Archery GB Permits whatever they are.
