What have I got here?

I’ve found this blade at the back of a drawer. It was part of a job lot swap from long ago.

It’s certainly recent.
It has no scales, no bolts and no lanyard tube and no sheath.
It’s never been assembled or used.

It’s a bit like a Green River 400 originally sold @ $2.65 per dozen in 1895.
Of COURSE I looked that up

Is this sample useful?

Is it just trading on a name?

Is it worth a project?

I dunno! Do you?

Green River Knife. I think is a good project knife, they are still available for £15 odd where available. Normally a simple carbon steel, and rusts quickly. There was a 52100 steel version at one point, that was really worth while, and a forum member had one for sale at £35 with sheath and handled....I really should have bought that!!!

As a project knife it would be a beater blade, with low resale value.

I would have a play if I was you, but it's all time....of which I know I don't have much of.
