I’ve decided, after much thought, to let my beautiful Jacklore Classic go. I’ve had the privilege of owning it for a few years, and although I originally bought it with every intention of putting it to work, I quickly found myself unable to do so, just like many other proud owners of this incredible tool. Instead, it remained in my collection as something of a “holy grail.” Now, I feel it’s time for it to find a new home, perhaps with someone who will finally take it into the field and allow it to perform as it was meant to.
This example is made from O1 tool steel, fitted with stabilized African redwood scales, mosaic pins, and a beautifully tapered tang with green liners. The sheath is finished with matching green stitching. The knife has never been sharpened—only stropped—and remains hair-popping sharp. It has seen very little use, mostly light carving.
I’m asking 450 tokens for this beauty. To my knowledge, Sandy may no longer be producing O1 blades, and if I were ever to purchase another, it would certainly be in carbon steel again.
For more information, please feel free to PM me.
