A downside with myself was that not only did I become massively overweight to the point of morbidly obese the damned meds I was taking were well known for both weight gain and the destruction of the immune system.
OK, somehow my tired braincell wasn't computing properly.I
I was referencing the folks you met in the woods, of whom were examples of many I came across on the weekly shopping run - of which may I add was pre planned with precison to spend as little time as possible out amongst folk.
Sometimes meds do more damage than they sort out. You end up with two problems instead of one.A downside with myself was that not only did I become massively overweight to the point of morbidly obese the damned meds I was taking were well known for both weight gain and the destruction of the immune system.
I absolutely agree. That was just the beginning. I saw right through it but it was very very powerful. I did not take the vaccine and never would. In answer to the question though how was I changed. During and after that period I made it my mission to learn to be self reliant in food, skills, health and spiritually. Through all of this I am well on the way to being sovereign and free. I am happier and healthier. I very much doubt I would be in such a fantastic place in my life right now without experiencing that level of global fear and negativity and it prompted me to write a book all about my lifetimes work of working toward freedom, It should be published early next year xThe pandemic didn’t just shake the world—it exposed it. It showed how effortlessly entire populations can be brought to heel with fear and propaganda, how the illusion of safety can be weaponized to enforce control. The global script played out like clockwork, and most followed without question—obedient, compliant, and blind. Those of us they mockingly call “useless eaters” were handed a bitter gift: a glimpse behind the curtain.
Now, as the system gears up for its next act, let’s hope fewer people play the role of docile sheep. What we need are more sheepdogs—awake, alert, and unafraid to bare their teeth when the wolves come circling again.
Once bitten twice shy.....
A different conversation entirely, but there’s been no erosion in trust by me, as there was very little to erode in the first place. The stage and backstage are very different places, the distraction and facade occur in front of an easily misled audience, acting as one to laugh or be shocked, or enthralled. Covid almost had its own laughter track to gee us all along.trust in authority has been eroded
Aww gawd steroids, yeah I know about them as it was corticosteroids that did my damage, and yeah weight loss, over the space of the last two years I have lost three of the unwanted stone I gained, to have a further one and a half stone yet to shift to get back to my pre pandemic, pre corticosteroid weight.Sometimes meds do more damage than they sort out. You end up with two problems instead of one.
Hope you can get yourself fit again. It's not easy, but I'm sure if you can get the right referrals you can improve somewhat, even if the old norm isn't possible.
I'm trying to loose at least a stone, 3, 1/2 months, and no change. I'm not giving up! It will happen, I'm changing my so called dietician who keeps telling me it's fine I havnt lost an ounce, in that time, despite diet changes, and more exercise. I have to take daily steroids which doesn't help either. Frustrating!
What I find funny is that during Covid everybody and their cats suddenly became medical experts that knew everything about this influenza.
I knew that I don´t know more than a pig about medical stuff so I had/have full trust in my countries medical experts. Gladly took all the vaccine they gave us.
I don´t and never will believe in any conspiracy theory.

I am amazed how quickly conspiracy theories started and how long they have persisted. I’m still being told that Covid jabs don’t work and are just Big Pharma making money.
Most people just wanted to further their knowledge about a major event that was impacting their lives and make informed decisions about how to respond. What I find funny is that during Covid everybody and their cats suddenly became medical experts that knew everything about this influenza.
Absolutely! People no longer trust what they are told by those in authority. Many will(and many did) refuse any jabs, and refuse to isolate or stay at home as we had to last time. As it was, many broke the rules, and didn't care one jot. I came across many who refused to wear masks or keep to the prescribed distance or one way system in the shops., usualy all 3 at once. Even came across a couple in my local woods, who were lost, walked right up to me and tried to hand me a map to point out where they were. On asking where they were from, it seems they had driven from the coast, over 20 miles away, where there was plenty of space to walk, when we had travel restrictions.
I pointed this out, I got ",we don't care, ".....so I sent them in the opposite direction to their car. Hee hee hee
They had a loooong walk back to their car. (At least 10 miles once they found out they were headed in the wrong direction., as they were already 8 miles away from it.
Norty! , but I felt that if they could show such contempt for others and rules, they deserved it.
The government did not lock down the borders, soon enough, and have actualy admitted it in some report or other.
Nothing medical is guaranteed, and given the huge variation in the human body, there are bound to be some for whom it either does not work or has unpleasant effects or harm. I looked at it and decided on the balance of probabilities, that it was better to than not, and was happy to take the vaccine. But at the same time I would not support forced vaccination or any other forced medical treatment. It has to be an individuals choice. (There is a part of the Mental Health Act re medication of Sectioned people that I am not comfortable with).
At the same time, it means that not going with the majority means that you might have to accept limitations. e.g. if an employer takes a view that employees have to be vaccinated, they might be right or wrong. By being the outlier you have to accept that you cannot be part of that employment, because the majority disagree with you. e.g. There are similar situations where good spoken english is seen as an essential safety issue, no matter how well otherwise you are qualified.
I was an archaeologist....a huge part of that is research, and in Scotland that research includes the first statistical accounts of the country.
Basically the Ministers of every parish wrote an account of their parish; it's people, their state of health, of housing, of economy, etc.,.....you would not believe the relief still so obvious in their writings of hundreds of years ago of the new treatment that was actually working to vaccinate people against smallpox. One wrote that in the parish that year on year hundreds were taken and others left mutilated and yet this past year, none had died of it, none had been left horrendously damaged....that was the very first 'vaccinations', simply made from the contents of the pustules of someone with the closely related cowpox......my husband's cousin is now eighty years old, for 74 of those years he has limped painfully and bravely through life on callipers and crutches, because he got polio as a small child.....one set of wee drops on a sugar cube to every bairn in the land, and we had no polio.
So, yes, I do take on board peoples concerns about vaccinations and side effects, etc., but I know damned fine that without them people die, children are maimed, blinded, crippled.
Covid ? I took every vaccination offered, and have recently taken the ones offered to prevent me developing shingles.....another horrendous infliction.
Would I be happy knowing that my children were socialising with children, in a close environment like a school, and that those children were not vaccinated against measles, rubella, polio ? diphtheria ....I know of a family member who buried five of her babies in a week, from diphtheria, she literally lost all of her infants only her older children survived...we rarely hear of diptheria now, or scarlet fever, yet there used to be entire wards devoted to the care of children suffering from it. TB ? there's another nightmare resurrecting itself. How about lockjaw ?....the list is enormous, and I honestly think that refusing vaccinations is a symptom and declaration of 1st world entitlement.
