SWMBO bought me a copy of Walden a little over fifteen years ago...I'm re-reading Rewild your Mind as well, probably for the third time. I'm also re-reading Thoreau's Walden, which I keep returning to as it is such a good guide to simple and purposeful living.
I have heard goods things about that. I am a dork and love science fiction. Currently reading the latest Halo book (probably read about 30 others).World Walkers by Neal Asher.View attachment 100383
The original story line for the Halo games was written by Greg Bear who's written many good science fiction books. His two books Eon and Eternity are some of the finest works of science fiction in my opinion and I highly recommend them to any fans of the genre.I have heard goods things about that. I've really enjoyed World Walkers, the only other Asher book I've read is The Gabble. He has a real talent for believable alien world building. I'd say give him a go.I've never read Neal Asher. Are his books any good?
Oh, dont forget I said that, but he is well worth reading regardless. And he inflicts his ideas on others
