I have one of Ronnies Ductch Ovens (bought it cheap unseasoned) and its fine - no problems at all.

I prefer unseasoned these days and rubbing smooth before seasoning with an electric detail sander (did a tutorial somewhere) then seasoning. You get a much smoother (so more non stick) finish.

Ronnies are a reputable firm with good prices - thats a lot of cast iron for your money
