has anyone baught one because i was going to by one in the group by that sandsnakes is running at the moment. but 4 new tyres for my car put stop to that.

also has anyone baught the tripod because i was going to by that to because it looks ausome in said group by

Alternatively wait till Ronnie Sunshines gets this beastie in back stock then you can do some real serious cooking

I have one of Ronnies Ductch Ovens (bought it cheap unseasoned) and its fine - no problems at all.

I prefer unseasoned these days and rubbing smooth before seasoning with an electric detail sander (did a tutorial somewhere) then seasoning. You get a much smoother (so more non stick) finish.

Ronnies are a reputable firm with good prices - thats a lot of cast iron for your money
