Weeping willow and mystery wood

The curvy spoon is the willow I have no idea what the other wood is any guesses? and yes the small tea spoon is oiled

Could be cherry. Or possibly elm.

Don't think it's mahogany I got it from a buddy of mine on the west coast of the US

hmmm....was the other wood easy to carve dry? (I'm assuming that's how you carved it) it looks a bit like almond heartwood (but sometimes the sapwood's the same colour)
