I carved this asymmetric Willow spoon ages ago, but didn't really like the finish on it, it was a bit thick and chunky.

So this afternoon with nothing better to do than sit in the sunshine with a cup of tea and a packet of shortbread biccies, i set to and "revised" it.

Its now got a much better over feel and finish to it, the bowl is down to 1/16 of an inch in thickness in the front half, the handle is thinner and it has a super smooth tooled finish on it and I guess the whole thing now feels, well - better.

Very nice work Mark. goodjob

Did you burnish it afterwards as that's a super smooth finish
Cheers Steve, yup lightly burnished with the back of my knife, but handle and back of the bowl only, interior of the bowl is as it came off the knife
