Not going alone. Two cars.

But now I'm considering delaying to next week. One of my comrades is sick.

My parents have a place in the Algarve and everytime I go I feel I should be off exploring the wilderness. The west coast is a favourite place but I'm not sure about camping and the authorities?

The west coast of Algarve is a nice place. Is the only place in summer where you could be alone at beach. Camping is forbidden, and firemaking in summer is to forget.

But you can always find a bushy site to place a tarp overnight.

Here in Azores no problem with that.
