Wow! Nice set up. Thinking of getting a similar setup. Can I ask what’s that you have around the chimney near the fabric? Ta!
It works really well for me, the only drawback that I've found, is the lack of space to dry and store fuel.Only because I’ve been thinking about getting one of those stoves for my Lavvo and doing the same thing
How is it?
I never thought of storing fuel underneath... Mind you, my Lavvo is a 4 man so space isn’t so much a problem for me.
After seeing this trip report and all the posts about Lavvu's I took the plunge myself and bought an unissued size 2 lavvu and an outbacker firebox stove ready for the winter. Ill be taking it for a spin (just the lavvu not the stove) for a 2 nighter over the weekend in Derbyshire whilst doing some flint knapping. I might post how it went with pictures next week.
