Made these knives for chip carving and detail work. When I make knives, I always save any scraps or cutoff bits. This is what they're good for. Handles (mostly cherry) are knife finished with some paint.

Great set of tools!

I don't throw away any small offcuts of good quality steel either, just in case they come in handy one day. Now I have an idea of what to do with them.

I like the short robust forms of the chip carving knives.
I have 2 of them = I can really lean hard into those for stab cuts.
Have you putone or two bevels on the skew shapes?
They all look like good carvers.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Robson, I did two bevels. I've made them with one, and that just didn't work for the way I use these blades. I like the versatility of two bevels.
