Just been browsing the old net and came across this site, great idea fairplay might have a go on the weekend, suppose the only draw back is that you need sunlinght for it to work.

The other drawback is the time and effort it takes to polish a can to a mirror finish using chocolate. I've tried, I got bored after an hour or so...

yer does look abit time consuming to get it to a perfect mirror finish

It does work (I cheated and used toothpaste to polish, still took a very long time to get it to shine)

I've done it too--it worked. But as others have said, it does take rather a long time to polish to the required shine.(It took me about 2 1/2 hours work i think?)
It is a great feeling when it works too
