Is there a nixwax type thing that you can use on normal materials, i'm trying to waterproof my Poss-pouch which I think is made from some sort of cotten-polyester mix??!!

Not sure about the proofing Wil but have you thought about a mini dry bag. You can get them in teeny weeny sizes now.

I think for poly/cotton Nikwax recommend 'Cotton Proof. Check on the web site to be sure.
