Just out of interest, dont you like the ridgerunner then Shewie? Or do you just prefer your blackbird over the bridge hammocks?

It's one I've been curious about for a long time, it took ages before I could source the DL and tarp together so when I was flush I decided to buy them. In hindsight I think I'm more likely to grab the Blackbird for a trip instead.

I bought the ridgerunner DL a few months back, [and the lynx underquilt] because I wanted to have a hammock option for canoeing, but have only had it out to trial in the local woods, for a few hours kip and found this bridge one miles more comfortable than the bunched end types.
[Only problem would be the dog sleeping under the tarp, where i think he'd get bitten to death in Scotland]
