Wanted Thermarest Prolite

Hi, I am wanting a Thermarest Prolite 3 or 4 in a regular. I have various things to swap including stoves, books, dvd's, blades etc.

I have a Prolite 3 but to be honest, don't find it that good. I now mostly have gone back to using a Ridgerest. The Prolite is 567g whereas the Ridgerest 313g. Also the Ridgerest is 'bombproof' and I find more comfortable.

Must you really have a Thermarest? Alpkit make a good alternative.

I've got a prolite 4 and it's plenty thick and warm as well as small and light. I never use it to be honest, so let's see what you got

I used to have a Thermarest (but it was stolen a while back) and really liked it, It fit in the side pouch of my pack and I found it really comfortable.

I have to swap:

• MSR MIOX - Unused but test strips just out of date
• MSR Windpro Stove - Used 3 times
• Brand New Genuine NATO bottle and Crusader SS Mug
• Ray Mears Essential Bushcraft Handbook - New
• Ray Mears Bushcraft Survival Hardback - New
• Bear Grylls Born Survivor (Survival Techniques) Hardback - New

Thanks, but I have most of those books and pretty sorted for clothes. My Prolite 4 has only been used three times and has never been used on the ground. I'll let someone else go for it.

I think I'll hang on to it for this season. If I decide to sell it I'll probably take my chances on ebay.

If I was considering a lightweight inflatable mat now, I'd probably choose the Alpkit one, but as I said before, the Ridgerest is much lighter and I find at least as comfortable. The only situation where I don't like the Ridgerest is in cold conditions, where condensation collects in the hollows, and wets the sleeping bag.

Just managed to pick up a brand new Prolite 3 in regular for £40 delivered. Also got one in short for the same price (Should come in handy in the hammock).

A few places are selling them off cheap as there's now a new one out.
