Wanted: Optimus 8R or 111T. Any condition.

I thought my net should include BCUK...Do anyone of you have one of the above stoves and are interested in parting with it?

I prefer stoves in good working order, but restoration objects are also of interest.

For trade I have a Gransfors 35 cm axe, Bacho Laplander, hunter backpack/chair, hand made knives (sami style, bushcraft style), hand made Lovikka mitts (a very recent hobby ) to mention some...if interested in trade, let me know what is of interest and I will see what I can do.

I got the 8R. In transit from Cheltenham at the moment.

I also have a lead on a 111 (for a mate) but we'll have to see how that pans out.

Do either run on paraffin?

The 111 comes, from what I understand, in five versions. The "111" runs on paraffin.

After the almost daily task of showeling snow, I got to try out the 8r. I like the old (it might even be older than me!) bugger alot, so even if my Nova+ is more efficient, this will be my go to stove, methinks.

They are a great little stove, try and find a mini pump and cap for the fuel tank which will boost winter performance.
