Hi all and festive greetings!

Santa delivered me a longbow yesterday and I started to think about making some arrows to go along with the half dozen that came with it.

Does anyone have access to suitable primary feathers from suitable birds that I could have a play with?

Many thanks

Keith

You need pretty strong feathers to make a durable fletch. Goose, turkey etc.
Its easier just to buy them if you are lazy like me ;) Not that expensive either. Definitely buy some fletching glue too. Superglue works but sticking your fingers together to to feather isnt much fun.
