I haven't found anything similar on the high street unless you can suggest something.

For the record Marigold Veg Bullion makes a decent veg brew. It only comes in tubs though, you'd need to package it up.

It's a chain that took over some of the old Au Natural stores when they went bankrupt.

They often sell good brand name foods with short use by dates, at a fraction of the usual cost. Like Sacla jars usually £2.49 for 29p, that kind of thing.
The dates on the custard sachets were 2010.
