WANTED: air rifle Essex area

Hi all,

I'm after a .22 springer air rifle, probably secondhand but in reasonably good nic please! Must able to be either delivered to Essex or I can collect from somewhere near Colchester!

Hi Will,

I live nearish to Colchester so know your problem. If you drive then there are two shops I can recommend, one is Taylors of Sudbury in Nayland, near Sudbury. John is very helpful and let me try before I bought from him. http://www.taylorsofsudbury.co.uk/ he has just put in a new gun room so has a great selection. I have bought from him and was a happy customer, I don't work for him or have any affiliation with his company. I think he sells second hand guns too.

In Bury St Edmunds there is Anglia Arms which are pretty good, they sell second hand and new guns but I haven't bought from them. There is also a guy that has a stool every Sunday at the Woolpit car boot sale that sells second hand air guns and he seems pretty good as well but again I haven't bought from him though his prices seemed pretty good.
http://www.guntrader.co.uk/ and http://www.ukgunroom.com/guns_for_sale.jsp might come in handy. I have just managed to get a second hand BSA Lightning in good condition with a scope for £80 from ukgunroom but I think that was a rare bargain and a fairly motivated seller.

When saying guns I am referring to air rifles.
