Wanted 58 pattern frog

Has any one got a 58 pattern frog?

Bayonet frog? was it on the side of one of the ammo pouches or did they have a seperate one too?

I don't recall using one with a green '58 set, but we had a separate one for use with parade duties, white plastic from memory.

nope you were right first time lou the 58 pattern bayonet frog was on the left ammo pouch. 44 pattern and 37 pattern did have individual canvas bayonet frogs.

There was a green plastic one used in conjunction with the green plastic working belt mid eighties to early nineties. Also if I remember rightly the frog on the 58 pat ammo pouch was a real pain to insert the scabbard.

Indeed the 58 was on the ammo pouch. what I need is the single one, should have been a bit more clear. sorry :sad6:
