Want to get out around Edinburgh

Hi all,

I've just came back from the Cairngorms and remembered how much I love camping etc.... so I would love to get out around Edinburgh for the occasional night.

Not having a car really limits me to near by -- anyone got any good ideas / experience of places?

gullane, yellowcraigs etc in East Lothian can all be reached by bus and have some good camping spots.

There's a few nice spots in the Dalmeny estate too.
